Summit Oaks Hospital is seeking a Manager of Therapeutic Activities to lead and grow the therapeutic activities program for adults and youth. You will oversee therapists and aides in occupational, music, art, and recreation therapy, ensuring quality care and adherence to treatment plans.
Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree and art therapy licensure/certifications, with 5-8 years of relevant experience.

Position Summary: The Manager of Therapeutic Activities is responsible for developing, directing, administering and coordinating the Therapeutic Activity Program. The Manager of Therapeutic Activities must direct all facets of the Therapeutic Activities Department including guaranteeing quality patient care to each patient, in accordance with quality standards. The Manager of Therapeutic Activities is also responsible for planning and implementing activity services for units and programs, defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary team and providing continuous patient care, observation and interaction and role modeling to patients.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
Certification, licensure, and/or Board Certification by state and/or national governing body in Art Therapy (Required)
Licenses Included: CTRS(recreation therapy), ATR(art therapy), MT-BC(music therapy), OT(occupational therapy) and LAC/LPC(counseling)
