Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis seeks a licensed social work professional to provide psychosocial assessments, therapy, and discharge planning on a designated unit. You will collaborate with treatment teams and referral sources to support patients across age groups.

The Therapist will conduct individual, group and family therapy, participate in treatment planning, crisis intervention, and case management to ensure smooth transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field; licensure preferred.
• Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• TN LCSW, LPC, LP preferred.
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, crisis and behavior management.
• Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including adults and dually diagnosed patients.

Job Description

The Therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy andobjectivesof Lakeside Behavioral Health. The Therapistis responsible forpsychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.
