Job summary

AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab Orange City seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee staff and patient care quality in a busy clinic. You will coordinate daily staffing, supervision of clinicians, and collaboration with physicians to grow referrals while ensuring compliance and excellent service.

This role reports to the Rehab Director, requires a Bachelor's in a healthcare field with 2+ years of healthcare leadership, and offers day-shift hours, full-time employment, and comprehensive

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ healthcare-related experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.

• Supports physician marketing to build referral relationships.
• Assists patient access team with scheduling and insurance verification as needed.
• Supervises clinicians to promote achievement of patient outcomes.

Job Description:

Location: AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab Orange City, 1053 Medical Center Drive suite 151, Orange City, Fl 32763

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Alerts leadership to daily staffing levels, case load, customer service issues, and staff discourse. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community. Provides support to the patient access team by calling physicians, scanning documents, calling patients, and scheduling. Tracks insurance benefits for patients requiring authorization and assists in insurance verification/authorization as needed. Supervises and assists clinicians with patient care to promote the achievement of identified patient outcomes. Manages all department maintenance, including cleaning equipment, monitoring temperatures, and ensuring mechanical checks and calibrations are completed. Tracks productivity, efficiency, and ensures accurate and complete end-of-month billing. Completes technical audits of charts to ensure all documentation is present. Orients new staff to the center and department under the direction of the Rehab Director. Assures all employees submit payroll information weekly and submits all expense reports. Attends facility meetings and assists with survey compliance as requested. Other duties as assigned.

• An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience OR Associates degree and 4+ years of experience OR High School Grad or Equivalent and 6+ years of experience.

Pay Range:

$60,257.60 - $112,070.40
