Capital Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead clinical practices located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the 2150 Pennsylvania Avenue building in Washington, DC. The role ensures safe, effective, patient-centered care while supervising nursing and clinical support operations onsite.

The Nurse Manager provides strategic and operational nursing leadership for the clinical practices located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the 2150 Pennsylvania Avenue building. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, consistent, and patient-centered delivery of clinical care while providing direct leadership and accountability for nursing and clinical support operations.

This is an onsite position requiring regular presence in the Washington, DC area to partner closely with leadership, employees, and operational teams.

Qualifications

The Nurse Manager directly manages two Nurse Supervisors and four Lead Medical Assistants, who provide frontline leadership and support for Registered Nurses, Nurse Supervisors and Medical Assistant. Through this leadership structure, the Nurse Manager provides oversight of clinical staffing, daily assignments, nursing practice, Medical Assistant workflows, employee performance, training and competency, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality.

The Nurse Manager serves as the primary nursing leadership resource for the assigned practices and works collaboratively with physicians, practice leadership, Nurse Supervisors, Lead Medical Assistants, and administrative leadership to ensure clinical operations effectively support patient care and provider needs.

The position is responsible for identifying operational and clinical barriers, implementing standardized workflows, developing staff, improving clinical performance, and ensuring appropriate staffing and resources are available to support efficient patient access and high-quality care.
