Henry County Hospital seeks an experienced Manager of Information Systems to direct all IS activities and to shape the strategic plan for hospital information systems.
The role emphasizes protecting patient, provider, employee, and business data in line with hospital policies and federal/state regulations. A strong background in healthcare IT governance and security is required.
Responsibilities:The Manager of Information Systems is responsible to direct, plan, organize, and oversee all activities of the information systems of Henry County Hospital. They are also responsible for the overall strategic plan of the information systems functions of the hospital, all ongoing activities related to the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of patient, provider, employee, and business information in compliance with Henry County Hospital's security policies and procedures, and federal and state regulations and laws.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years' experience in information systems project management, design, and implementation. Expert knowledge of technical software and hardware required. Preferred Master's degree in computer science business or healthcare administration and previous information systems experience in a healthcare setting.
