Froedtert Health in Oak Creek, WI, seeks a Imaging Services leader responsible for the overall direction, management and control of assigned Site and/or Modality Section. You will direct staff and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Health Science or related field and at least four years of radiology/sonography/NM/PET experience, and ARDMS/NMTCB/ARRT licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as Radiologic Technologist, NM/PET Technologist, or Sonographer depending on modality.

Job Summary: In collaboration with the Imaging Services Directors across Froedtert Health, responsible for the overall direction, management and control of assigned Site and/or Modality Section. Directs assigned staff and procedures in quality patient care.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Demonstrated competency and knowledge in the area of operations and/or a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, NM/PET Technologist, or Sonographer depending upon the modality area assigned is required.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor's Degree in a Health Science, Health Administration, or related field is required. Prior healthcare management/supervisory experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Ability to use standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, computer terminal, printer and facsimile machine. Travel to and from all locations where assigned modality equipment and staff are located along with various meeting requirements. Ability to use general medical equipment including first aid equipment. Ability to use patient mobility devices including patient carts, wheelchairs, and patient lifting devices. Ability to use and understand assigned Modality Imaging equipment. Highly effective written and oral communication skills. Read, write, high degree of aptitude and precision in mathematics including metric knowledge. Highly effective interpersonal skills.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), OR by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), OR by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
