Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote.

This role is on a hybrid schedule in either our Charlotte or Detroit office. In office a few days with some remote work. As the HR Business Partner (HRBP) Manager, you will be responsible for developing and directing the implementation of Human Resource initiatives for the organization. You will lead and drive the support of HR projects/initiatives, policies and procedures, compensation strategy and planning. This role will provide direction and support for high level staffing/recruiting functions and addresses development needs and performance management of employees. The HRBP Manger will report to the HR Director or Sr HR Director. A successful candidate for this role must have self-motivation, as you will perform with limited supervision or direction. As Manager, you will frequently interact with other internal and external personnel (ie., external auditors, regulators) on specific projects or more complex tasks under limited supervision, and you may interact with Ally Senior Leadership.
Deliver plans using business knowledge and execute strategies and methods in alignment with enterprise goals and HR policies and practices. Serve as a trusted advisor and valued business partner to executive leadership and their teams to exert influence and create positive change. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Ensure that investigations are thorough and include an understanding of the allegations, appropriate interviews, analysis, documentation and recommendations for conclusion and course of action. Act as a coach and mentor to leaders by offering creative solutions to sensitive issues using a multi-disciplined approach. Evaluate and analyze data and information from HR will report to determine HR issues impacting the business unit. Provide compensation guidance in alignment with Ally's pay for performance culture and support annual compensation planning process. Remain hands-on by driving change management and process improvement initiatives. Drive performance management culture including management and employee development initiatives. Partner with Talent Acquisition team on recruitment needs for business. Partner with Finance to ensure headcount and business plan alignment. Applies relevant regulations, policies and procedures to business issues and day to day responsibilities. Up to 25% travel.

Base Pay Range $90,000.00 - $150,000.00
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
