DPR Construction is seeking an experienced leader to manage the development and delivery of employee communications across the organization. The role partners with senior leaders to translate priorities into clear, actionable messages and supervises a team to ensure brand-consistent content.

The position emphasizes alignment with culture, values, and EVP while overseeing vendor and budget needs for employee communications activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in internal or corporate communications, including 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • CMP or APR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops strategy for communications programs and campaigns across channels.
  • Supervises communications staff, assigning work, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
  • Partners with leadership to translate strategic priorities into clear messaging frameworks and editorial plans.
  • Oversees content standards, review processes, and quality control to ensure accuracy, accessibility, inclusivity and adherence to brand standards.
  • Coordinates measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement using engagement and feedback data.
  • Aligns internal messaging with organizational culture, values, and Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Manages vendor and budget needs related to employee communications activities.

Education Qualifications
  • Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience
  • Work Experience: 7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field, including 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity required.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Certifications and Licenses: Communication Management Professional (CMP) or Accredited in Public Relations (APR) certification preferred.

Anticipated starting pay range: $124,000.00- $186,000.00
