Job summary

McAngus Goudelock & Courie in Memphis, TN, is seeking attorneys to join our Litigation team. The role offers exposure to all phases of civil litigation from case inception to trial and direct client contact.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of practice experience in civil litigation.
• Experience with all phases of civil litigation from case inception to trial and direct client contact.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.

• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants

Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of practice experience.
