Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse in Oncology to support the BWH Oncology Float Pool.

You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and advocate for patients across a range of cancer diagnoses. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients per established protocols.

Job Summary

Responsible for patient care, collaboration within interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of healthcare are maintained through skilled nursing expertise, support, and advocacy for patients. We are looking for experienced Oncology RNs to support the BWH Oncology Float Pool.

Essential Functions
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and assist in treatments and procedures.

  • Respond efficiently and effectively to emergent situations, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
Education

Associate’s Degree Nursing required and Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Providing care for a broad range of patients with hematological and solid-tumor cancer diagnoses
  • Providing patient and family education and support throughout their admission
  • Administering treatments including: Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Stem Cell Transplants, and CAR-T
  • Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
