Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a MFT Platform Administrator to manage day-to-day operations, security, and reliability of the enterprise MFT ecosystem including IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and AWS services. The role emphasizes automation, runbooks, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computing.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in file transfer environments.
• Hands-on admin experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling Control Center.
• Experience with Connect:Direct, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2.
• Knowledge of PKI, TLS/SSL, SSH, and PGP encryption.
• Understanding DMZ architectures, firewalls, DNS, load balancers.
• Experience with AWS Transfer Family and MRAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for enterprise MFT platforms.
• Monitor production file transfer activities and perform root-cause analysis.
• Configure and troubleshoot secure transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS/AS2, MBI).
• Manage certificates and TLS/SSL lifecycle.
• Support disaster recovery, resiliency testing, and high-availability initiatives.
• Develop runbooks, documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Drive automation and self-service to improve operations.
