Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a qualified MFM Ultrasound Technologist for our New Bedford location. The technologist will perform obstetric and fetal imaging, educate patients, and support the radiology team with high-quality exams.

Requirements include accreditation in diagnostic medical sonography with OB/GYN ARDMS certification, BLS, and 2+ years of Maternal Fetal Medicine experience. A 8,000 USD sign-on is offered, with day shifts and a 24–32 hour flex schedule.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified clinical patient care and imaging as part of radiology team.
• Identify, prepare and administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam.
• Obtain chart information and document data in the EHR; educate patients for exams.
