Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to perform specialized obstetric ultrasound exams, including Level II fetal surveys and Doppler studies, to support high-risk pregnancies. The role requires RDMS with OB/GYN, NT and cervical length certifications within 1 year, and fetal echocardiography certification within 3 years.

Sanford offers a sign-on bonus and work on the Marshfield/Weston campuses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent work experience.
• RDMS with OB/GYN specialty required.
• NT and cervical length certifications within 1 year of hire; fetal echocardiography certification within 3 years of hire.
• NDMIRT licensure if practicing in North Dakota (where applicable).
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized obstetric ultrasound examinations for high-risk cases.
• Capture and optimize diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Communicate significant findings to the interpreting physician.
• Assist with invasive procedures (amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling).
• Document findings in the EMR accurately and promptly.
