Job summary

Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to perform high- risk obstetric ultrasound exams, support diagnosis and patient care, and collaborate with MFM physicians and care teams. Responsibilities include conducting Level II scans, fetal growth assessments, and Doppler studies, with documentation in the EMR and communication of findings to physicians.

Qualifications

• RDMS with OB/GYN specialty required.
• NT and cervical length certifications within 1 year of hire.
• Licensure requirements vary by location; valid driver’s license may be needed for mobile outreach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive obstetric ultrasound examinations per protocol, including NT screening and Level II surveys.
• Assess fetal growth, biophysical profiles, and Doppler studies for high-risk pregnancies.
• Document findings accurately in the EMR and communicate significant results to physicians.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis when applicable.
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine physicians and care teams to ensure quality patient care.
