Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer specialized in Maternal-Fetal Medicine to perform comprehensive fetal ultrasound imaging in Issaquah, WA. The role involves detailed anatomy surveys, image documentation, and collaboration with perinatologists to support high-risk pregnancies.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, producing preliminary reports, and maintaining compliant patient records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent, with related training.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo (FE) certified or eligible within 12 months of hire.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.
• NT experience or certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets; acquire data for interpretation by a physician.
• Assist physicians with amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Document exam findings, measurements, images, and details in reporting systems.
• Record patient history and indications according to protocols and standards.
• Generate preliminary reports for interpreter review and final signature.
• Communicate findings with interpreting physicians and support diagnostic accuracy.
• Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and compliant with policies and safety standards.
• Rotate to other locations as needed to cover absences.
• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and explain procedures clearly.
