Job summary

Orlando Health’s Women’s Institute seeks a skilled Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine to perform diagnostic imaging with ARDMS compliance and pediatric capabilities. The role leads imaging operations, collaborates with radiology and perinatology teams, and supports training for staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality images, accurate documentation, patient safety, and active participation in department projects and workflow optimization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in applied science and graduate of an accredited school of sonography. Must meet ARDMS eligibility and/or CCI guidelines.
• Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine sonography and pediatric congenital sonography with capability for advanced exams.

Responsibilities

• Acts as sonography section leader and coordinates equipment and personnel decisions.
• Performs diagnostic sonographic exams in collaboration with radiologists, perinatologists, and cardiologists.
• Ensures image quality, proper documentation, and patient safety; participates in quality control and training of staff.
