Job summary

Orlando Health’s Women’s Institute is seeking a skilled sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound and related procedures with a focus on maternal-fetal medicine. You will collaborate with radiology and perinatology teams to deliver high-quality imaging for interpretation and intervention.

The role requires ARDMS eligibility/CI guidelines compliance, and supervision of students. Full-time daytime schedule with potential for leadership responsibilities within the imaging department.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in applied science and ARDMS eligibility.
• Must meet ARDMS/CCI guidelines.
• Registered or eligible for RDMS/RDCS/RDMS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Acts as sonography section leader within Imaging Services.
• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures for interpretation.
• Ensures high-quality images with correct annotation and patient ID.
• Coordinates with radiologist and perinatologist to plan exams.
• Maintains compliance with safety and quality control standards.
• Mentors students and trains new sonographers.
