UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a day shift in the Womens Services area. The role uses the nursing process to plan, deliver, and manage patient care from admission to discharge, and requires MA licensure and active BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required in certain units.

BSN strongly preferred; schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:30 with potential signing bonus eligibility discussed during interview.

Qualificações

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required for all RNs.
• ACLS is required in select areas within 6 months of hire and ACLS certification is current.
• PALS is required in select areas within 6 months of hire.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per protocol.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care in the assigned setting.
• Delegate tasks appropriately based on competency and job description.
