An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to oversee employee relations and ensure compliance within a bustling food manufacturing environment. This role requires a proactive leader who can foster open communication and uphold a culture of safety and inclusion. You will champion the plant's cultural initiatives, guide staffing practices, and develop compensation plans while ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations. Oversee and ensure legal compliance throughout all employee relations activities, including training, investigations, decision-making processes and follow through. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety Quality Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy. Provide leadership that embodies our 7 Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational development, organizational psychology or other business-related field.
- 2+ years human resources experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions.
- Thorough knowledge of plant procedures and policies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Desired
- Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification.
- Experience managing a plant safety process.
- Work experience in a union plant.
- Work experience in human resources at a manufacturing plant.
