MFG MACHINE OPERATOR (Finance)

Responsible for all aspects of machine operation and changeover activities to achieve and maintain world-class quality. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and our Customer 1st strategy. Provide leadership embodying our 7 Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles. Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective written communication skills, including legibility
  • Basic math skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous food manufacturing experience
Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment
  • Operate and maintain assigned machinery safely and effectively to meet daily orders
  • Complete safety observations as assigned
  • Read and adhere to standard work instructions for the machine
  • Follow established standard work processes
  • Verify proper components at the workstation before starting
  • Monitor product quality to meet or exceed standards
  • Complete downed equipment checklists when necessary
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation
  • Maintain reliable attendance, including overtime as needed
  • Keep the work area clean and organized
  • Participate actively in Total Process Control activities
  • Work around ingredients and products containing food allergens
  • Adhere to food safety and quality principles, complying with regulatory and company standards
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
