The Operator 2, Machine Liquid - Refiners position is responsible for staging and mixing raw materials on the lines.

SHIFT HOURS: Thursday 1:00am - 7:15am and Thursday Friday and Saturday 7:00pm - 7:15am. SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $4/hr

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform the duties of an Operator 1
  • Enter recipe data according to production schedule
  • Perform viscosity and quality checks on the line sampling
  • Correct the consistency of paste in a mixer and transfer the chocolate as needed
  • Track inventory, clean magnets and document HACCP
  • Cross train to perform all functions of an Operator 3, Machine Liquid
  • Cross train to perform all functions of an Operator 3, Machine Liquid- Mixer

About you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) year technical degree in mfg, preferred
  • Computer Numerical Control (CNC) experience, preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Google Sheets, a plus
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience using a micrometer, preferred
  • Basic computer usage (keyboard and mouse)
  • Math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • One (1) year food manufacturing experience, required
  • Ability to operate power equipment including forklift and hand card
  • Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
  • Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently
  • Ability to climb stairs, often
  • Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
  • Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
