Job Summary

The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician is highly skilled in providing hands-on technical support to engineers in the design and optimization of manufacturing processes. This role assists with developing production floor layouts and conducting process trials to ensure efficient and reliable operations. The technician documents test procedures and results with accuracy, supports the implementation of new processes, and resolves routine technical issues. They play a key role in bridging engineering and production by applying strong practical expertise to improve safety, quality, and performance across the facility.

Required Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
• May need to stand for long periods of time.
• Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
• May be requested to work a different shift.
• This position is Safety-Sensitive.
