The Student Assistant for the Transdisciplinary Design (TD) MFA program will provide critical support to both the program's leadership and the Design Strategies operations team, ensuring the effective management of the TD Studio and Cave Space. Responsibilities include providing light IT and AV support, coordinating and communicating event logistics, managing the TD Studio space, and serving as a liaison among students, faculty, and administrative partners. The role also involves designing marketing and event materials, managing equipment and tracking orders, and supporting day-to-day studio operations to foster a collaborative and well-functioning environment. Successful candidates will bring strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to move ideas into action, along with excellent communication abilities across multiple levels of the organization.

Work hours are not fixed and may vary from week to week based on program needs. Student Assistants will support events taking place throughout the semester and should have some flexibility in their availability to accommodate scheduled program events.
Hourly Rate: $18 per hour
