Responsibilities

• Reads recipes and prepares products using kitchen equipment.
• Reads the daily prep sheet and follows it closely.
• Follows build-to-pars and completes production on time.
• Places products in hot wells, cold wells, walk-in fridges, and freezers.
• Stores all food in pans, with covers and dates, in walk-in cooler.
• Keeps prep area, equipment, walls and floors clean and sanitized.
• Helps control food costs and manage inventory.
• Observes kitchen safety, sanitation and back door safety rules.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Uses FIFO to rotate stock properly.
• Cleans with approved chemicals per MSDS.
• Promotes teamwork at all times.
