Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing performing dimensional inspection and calibration.
• Proficient reading blueprints and GD&T; understand measurement uncertainty.
• Able to analyze measurement data statistically and document results.
• Experience with a range of metrology equipment including CMMs, calipers, micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, adjustment, and repair of precision measuring equipment and test instruments.
• Document calibration results, maintain calibration records, and generate calibration certificates.
• Develop and optimize calibration procedures and methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct Gage R&R studies and other measurement system analyses to ensure measurement reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement equipment and processes.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on metrology best practices.

• Demonstrated experience with a wide range of metrology equipment (CMMs, calipers, micrometers, vision systems, etc.).
• Strong understanding of calibration principles and measurement uncertainty.
• Ability to perform basic statistical analysis of measurement data.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with a variety of measurement software (e.g., Calypso, PC-DMIS, MCOSMOS).
• Certification in metrology (e.g., ASQ Certified Calibration Technician, NCSL International).
