You will contribute to calibration procedures, Gage R&R studies, and process improvements in collaboration with engineering and production teams. Typical responsibilities include operating CMMs and other metrology equipment, ensuring proper documentation, and training staff on measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in metrology or calibration within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in measurement and inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with calibration software and maintaining calibration records.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and preventive maintenance on measurement equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning metrology instruments.
• Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation.

• Experience with calibration software and maintaining calibration records.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with programming CMMs using PC-DMIS or Calypso software.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret GD&T on complex engineering drawings.
• Certifications in metrology (e.g., ASQ CQT, CMfgT).
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA).
