Job summary

Technimark LLC in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Quality Inspector/Engineer to perform Gage R&R studies on new variable gauging, measure parts for Cp and Cpk capability studies, and support DOE and engineering trials.

You will perform physical testing of plastic injection molded products, document results, carry out dimensional inspections to assist with mold and tooling issues, and help calibrate measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform Gage R&R studies on new variable gauging to ensure measurement system accuracy and repeatability.
• Measure parts for Capability studies (Cp, Cpk), Engineering trials, Design of Experiments (DOE), providing data for analysis by Quality Engineering.
• Perform physical testing of plastic injection molded products and document/report results.
• Carry out detailed dimensional inspections to support engineers in troubleshooting mold and tooling issues.
• Support and maintain calibration of all measurement tools and equipment that directly affect part quality.
• Ensure all measurement activities are conducted with a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Work Independently with minimal supervisor while effectively managing inspection priorities and deadlines.
