Job summary

Novo Nordisk USA in North Carolina seeks a Metrology Calibration Specialist to calibrate measuring equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support site-wide measurement projects. You will participate in systematic problem solving and cross-functional investigations while ensuring accurate documentation and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related engineering or science discipline from an accredited university required
• May consider a High School Diploma (GED) with six years of relevant metrology/calibration work experience and six years of instrumentation understanding
• Minimum of four years of metrology/calibration work experience required
• Thorough understanding of instrumentation & controls required
• Experience using calibration management systems such as SAP, Blue Mountain RAM, ProCal, MAXIMO required

Responsibilities

• Calibrate & repair temperature, pressure, conductivity, humidity, pH, TOC, flow, mass & frequency measuring equipment
• Lead, conduct, & participate in systematic problem solving; support cross-functional investigations
• Participate in metrology projects within the department
• Record activities accurately in documentation; write work orders
• Lead calibration activities as scheduled with support from Metrology Lead
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure calibration processes follow standards
• Maintain training qualifications; assist in training others
• Follow safety and environmental requirements
