Job summary

Nivagen Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Metrology Technician II to lead calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production and testing instruments. You will ensure calibration schedules are followed and support junior staff under the Metrology Supervisor, in a role that aligns with regulatory standards.

The position emphasizes cGMP-compliant documentation, collaboration with validation, and vendor coordination for timely repairs and improvements across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and analyze scientific/technical documents and perform data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead calibrations on production, lab, and testing equipment per regulatory requirements (cGMP).
• Troubleshoot complex instrumentation issues and coordinate with vendors for major repairs.
• Maintain complete calibration and repair records per internal procedures and regulatory standards.
