Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Metrology Technician (Hourly) at CMM Programmer Level 2 in the United States. You will create and manage PC-DMIS routines, translate GD&T specifications and blueprints into CMM programs, and support PPAP and production improvements.

The role requires PC-DMIS Level 1 and 2 certifications, at least two years of relevant experience, and proficiency with touch probes, laser scanning, and vision-based measurement systems.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• PC-DMIS Certification Level 1 & 2 with minimum 4 years experience.
• Experience with GD&T, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Two years in metrology/manufacturing/quality roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop CMM programs with PC-DMIS to support PPAP and other initiatives.
• Translate drawings and GD&T specs into CMM programs.
• Assist with part fixturing design for measurement setups.
• Provide coaching to CMM operators and entry-level programmers.
• Log checks and project statuses in metrology tracking system.
• Support kaizen events and root-cause analysis.
