Ravelin Defense Inc. is seeking a Metrology Manager in Chandler, AZ to lead QA operations, oversee calibration and inspection activities, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

You will manage a team of inspectors, develop inspection plans, and coordinate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Materials to support on-time delivery. The role requires a strong background in mechanical inspection, GD&T, and measurement equipment, with a proven leadership track record and the ability to

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• 10+ years of visual and dimensional inspection experience with basic and intermediate inspection tools.
• Experience with welding inspection is a plus.
• Ability to read, interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day QA operations, including task assignments, productivity, quality issues and production support to meet delivery schedules and quality requirements.
• Manage the calibration, testing, maintenance of measurement equipment to ensure they meet requirements.
• Develop and maintain capacity planning for equipment and inspection team.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Materials to ensure smooth product flow and on-time delivery.
• Direct supervision for a team of quality inspectors; create goals, conduct performance reviews and manage leave/vacation requests.
• Document and report nonconforming products and ensure proper segregation of nonconforming items.
• Perform receiving, first piece, in-process, final, weld inspection and tool/fixture inspections as needed.
• Maintain ongoing effectiveness of the calibration process and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Provide leadership and training to all Quality employees as applicable.
