Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a seasoned Metrology Specialist to program, optimize, and lead complex inspections across CMMs, CT scanners, laser trackers, and optical systems. You will design fixtures, troubleshoot measurement issues, and support product design with data-driven insights.

You will collaborate with the Quality Engineering team, mentor others, and help ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 17025 standards, while maintaining data reliability across lab operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of metrology experience, including programming CMMs.
• Hands-on experience with multiple metrology systems (CMMs, laser trackers, optical systems).
• Proficiency with metrology software and GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Program and operate metrology equipment to validate parts.
• Write, debug, and optimize inspection programs to improve accuracy and throughput.
• Troubleshoot complex measurement issues and resolve process-level problems.
• Design, build, and validate holding fixtures for CMMs.
• Collaborate with Quality Eng to support root-cause analysis and design fixes.
• Define best-practice inspection and reporting strategies with cross-functional teams.
