Job summary

Divergent in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Quality Inspector to support our metrology lab, delivering accurate scan data and inspection reports to ensure parts meet engineering specifications.

You will work with scanners like FARO, Romer, and C‑Track, create inspection files, record NCRs, and collaborate with engineering and production to resolve issues. The role includes 2nd shift with a 6% differential.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and operate scanning arms.
• Proficiency with Windows, Excel, and common QA software.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections per drawings.
• Capture metrology data using scanners and document results.
• Prepare inspection reports and NCRs.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain 5S in Metrology Lab and calibration/traceability of data.
