Job summary

Divergent seeks a hands-on Inspection & Metrology Supervisor to lead daily inspection and metrology across production and development environments. This role ensures product quality, data integrity, and compliance through robust inspection processes and strong technical leadership.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience with inspection and metrology in aerospace/automotive manufacturing.
2+ years in a people leadership or supervisory role with coaching responsibilities.
Strong GD&T interpretation and measurement planning experience.
Proficient with metrology tools including CMMs, portable arms, laser/structured-light scanners, and conventional instruments.
Experience within ISO/AS quality systems and on production floors.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily inspection and metrology operations on the production floor across multiple tools.
Lead and mentor technicians, ensuring adherence to plans and schedules.
Act as technical point of contact for measurement strategy and troubleshooting.
Ensure repeatable, efficient CMM programs; partner with engineering to improve cycle times.
Coordinate workload, staffing, and equipment to meet production needs.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Production to resolve issues and drive improvements.
