Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a qualified Quality Inspector to join our mechanical inspection team. You will read engineering drawings, apply GD&T, and perform dimensional metrology in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on medical device quality.

You will develop inspection methods, program CMM and vision systems, coordinate MSA activities, and lead root-cause investigations. The role requires a 3+ year track record and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in mechanical inspection, dimensional metrology, or quality inspection within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Participate on cross-functional teams to establish quality requirements for new or revised products.
• Develop, establish and qualify mechanical inspection methodologies and procedures.
• Create setup fixtures and programs for automated/non-contact inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems, Keyence).
• Coordinate and perform Measurement System Analysis as required.
• Lead inspection-related investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
