Job summary

Velosity Brooklyn Park is seeking a Metrology Engineer to support our medical parts manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Park, MN. You will design, implement, and maintain metrology systems to ensure dimensional accuracy and regulatory compliance, supporting product development, process validation, and continuous improvement.

This is an on-site role with a base salary of $75,000 to $100,000 and a 5% quarterly bonus target.

Qualifications

• 5 years in metrology or dimensional inspection (medical device preferred).
• Proficiency in GD&T and CMM programming (PC-DMIS or similar).
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 17025.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement metrology procedures and inspection plans for complex components.
• Program and operate CMMs, vision systems, and optical measurement tools.
• Develop calibration procedures and maintain equipment per ISO 17025.
• Conduct Gage R&R studies and TMVs.
• Support First Article Inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Analyze measurement data and drive process improvements.
