The Metrology Engineer works within a dynamic team to see customer requests through from inception to final product. This role is responsible for assessing the feasibility of final and interim metrology needs in relation to the manufacturing process and final product requirements. The engineer will interface directly with customers, internal engineers, quality c6ntrol, and technicians to meet and document part specifications based on customer prints and optical standards.
Advancement through the Metrology Engineer ranks is attained via increasing levels of education, experience, industrial skills, math skills, computing skills, responsibility and leadership potential and effectiveness.
