Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Staff Engineer in Metrology for DRAM to lead startup, development and optimization of metrology processes targeting quality and reliability improvements.

You will apply failure analysis and statistical methods to diagnose and resolve assembly issues, while coordinating equipment and material evaluations for new product introductions. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Start up, develop and optimize metrology processes to improve product quality and reliability.
• Lead yield improvement, cost reduction and productivity initiatives across the metrology workflow.
• Diagnose and resolve assembly process problems using FA, FMEA, 8D or SPC/FDC methodologies.
• Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluations and optimizations for new products.

Education

Master's degree in Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science/ Chemical/ Electrical Engineering
