Micron Technology Inc. is seeking a Metrology Process Development Engineer in Technology Development to start up, develop, and optimize metrology processes for future memory product fabrication.

You will work with advanced metrology techniques and collaborate across Fab 4 to support process characterization, optimization, and technology transfer. The role requires strong semiconductor metrology knowledge, data analysis skills, and hands-on experience with AI tools to accelerate solutions, as

Qualificações

• Strong understanding of key semiconductor process metrics needed for characterization, optimization, and line control.
• Excellent digital literacy including MS Office, JMP, and Python.
• Practical experience using AI tools to enable fast solutions.
• Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Startup, development, and optimization of metrology processes for semiconductor process flows in future memory products.
• Partner with metrology vendors to improve software/hardware and develop new measurement techniques.
• Maintain calibration of metrology systems used in technology development.
• Collaborate with process development and integration engineers to optimize measurements across new device flows.
• Develop applications on next-generation processes and technologies for Fab 4 and tech transfers.
• Evaluate new metrology tools for optimal cost-of-ownership and accuracy for R&D and manufacturing.
• Design and optimize metrology target layouts to boost measurement capability and quality.
• Improve automation, throughput, and measurement precision while preserving integrity.
