Dexter is seeking a Metro Driver to operate local delivery routes in the Lincolnton, NC area. You will deliver products to customers, collect payments when needed, and maintain accurate delivery records, all while prioritizing safety and customer service.

This role offers local, home-daily work with well-maintained equipment and a supportive team dedicated to safe, reliable deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience driving comparable vehicles.
• Valid Class C driver’s license per federal and state requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid medical card/certification.
• Safe driving record.
• GVWR 10,001–26,000 lbs. vehicles include box trucks, city delivery trucks, walk‑in vans, etc.

Responsibilities

• Drive company box trucks on local routes to deliver product to customers.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Load and unload product as needed.
• Collect payments when required and record deliveries accurately.
• Get customer signatures for deliveries and pickups.
• Pick up returns and empty containers.
• Keep your truck clean and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety rules.

Dexter is hiring a Metro Driver to run established local delivery routes. This role is all about safe driving, on‑time deliveries, and good customer service — no long hauls, no overnights.
