Job summary

Qualifications

• Must complete Electric Meter Tester Apprenticeship program.
• Forklift training and certification completed.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read meter data and use test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, inspects, calibrates and tests meters and related devices.
• Load programs into electric meters and verify nameplate data.
• Install, maintain and operate meter testing equipment.
• Maintain meter shop cleanliness and inventory records.
• Assist in training internal and external customers in shop testing of meters.
