What You Will Do

Electric Meter and AMI installers will be responsible for installing AMI modules on gas meters, driving daily as required by assigned geographic area, processing the required data accurately and meeting all required completion dates. We provide step-step training and will make sure that you are comfortable with the process before going out in the field.

An ideal candidate should have an appreciation for safety & produce quality work, be motivated to be trained & learn new skills, enjoy the outdoors (as this is where you'd spend most of your time), appreciate working independently, desire to start OR advance a career in utility field services!

Work Requirements

Provide a valid, Unexpired Driver’s License.

H.S. Diploma or GED equivalency required.

Pre-employment drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle record screenings will be completed.

Work Schedule

Shift: Monday-Friday, 1st shift.

Physical Requirements

• Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day;
• carry up to 20lbs of equipment;
• be able to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service and perform other duties as assigned;
• Performs all work in a safe manner;
• Observes and follows all company/client procedures;
• Possess excellent customer service/communication skills;
• Be available for overtime (which may include weekends);
• Be comfortable using computers/technology.
