Job summary

Bermex, Inc. is seeking a Meter Services Supervisor to lead the meter reading and related services team. You will interact with customers, manage schedules, and oversee field operations with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors. Must be at least 21 with 1 year in a supervisory role, and be prepared to complete training requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or GED.
• Nice to have: Bachelor's Degree.
• Must be 21 years of age or older with at least 1 year in project management or similar supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and resolve issues ensuring deadlines are met.
• Partner with customers and managers to ensure customer satisfaction with ongoing communication.
• Work with leaders to identify inefficiencies and reduce costs.
• Explain and demonstrate tasks to new workers or assign training tasks.
• Recommend personnel actions such as selection, evaluation, rewards, or discipline.
• Improve worker motivation and equipment performance.
• Requisition needed personnel, supplies, or repair services.
• Drive vehicles or equipment to complete work assignments.
• Prepare, compile, and submit reports on work activities and productivity.
• Resolve worker problems and assist in resolution.
• Perform and schedule repairs or preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Assist workers in tasks andReading daily meters/skips.
• Walk and stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather.
• Handle customer inquiries or refer to appropriate authorities.
• Provide general information about meter services to customers.
• Use telephones, tablets, and/or computers to communicate.
