Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Meter Reader to join the SourceOne energy management team. You will collect meter information and maintain relationships with customers while supporting field data activities.

Responsibilities include data gathering from diverse sources, coordinating with supervisors, and assisting with new account creation and access authorizations. A High School Diploma is required and some energy or utility experience is preferred.

• Support to field inquiry requests to help manage problem resolution for customer utility-billing issues.
• Coordinating and assisting with field information for new customer account creation.
• Support researching and identifying field procedures for the authorizations of access to customer’s meter locations and utility information.
• Proactively identify abnormal metering situations and advise the Energy Management team.
• Supporting administrative needs of the business, including but not limited to, accounting, reporting, the sales process, data entry, back-up phone support, and general administration.

Job Description

Position Purpose:

The Meter Reader will be a key part of the SourceOne energy management team responsible for collecting meter information and maintaining good working relationships with all SourceOne customers.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Directly reporting to Supervisor of Energy Management.
