Job summary

The position is full-time and involves crafting, producing, and posting weather segments and related content for TV, the WLOX Weather app, social media, and our CTV streaming channel, in collaboration with a skilled weather center team.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in meteorology or related field is preferred.
• Education or training in broadcast journalism or communications preferred.
• Flexibility in schedule.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Storm-chasing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting for weekend newscasts as part of the First Alert Weather Team.
• Crafting, producing, and presenting weather segments.
