Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler 1 to support our Plant operations in Greensboro, NC. You will pull, fill, cut orders, handle inventory, and assist with shipping, ensuring accuracy and safety in daily warehouse tasks.

The role requires basic equipment operation, reading job orders, verifying materials, and maintaining an organized, secure warehouse environment. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with physical stamina for timely material movement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in warehousing or material handling.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (cranes, forklifts, side loaders) preferred.
• Clear oral and written communication; legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, and load trucks and customer vehicles.
• Receive and return items into stock locations.
• Read and decipher work orders; verify heat numbers and material specifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, side loaders, yard trucks, and other heavy equipment as required.
• Tag material for identification and complete documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Drive company vehicle for local deliveries and parts pick-up (non-DOT).
