Job summary

EMJ, a leading metals distributor in North America, seeks a Warehouse Material Handler in Denver. You will pull, fill, and cut orders, and manage inventory and shipping tasks while operating basic equipment and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading job orders, verifying material, using cranes and forklifts, and keeping the warehouse orderly. This is a first-shift, non-exempt role with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehousing or material handling experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to obtain certification to operate material handling equipment.
• Clear communication and physical fitness to operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials to fill orders and load trucks.
• Receive and place items into stock locations.
• Read and verify heat numbers and material specifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, side loaders, and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse; restock as required.
