Job summary

EMJ is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for the 2nd shift at the Earle M. Jorgensen facility to pull, fill, cut orders and manage inventory and shipping tasks in a metals distribution environment. You will operate basic equipment, verify materials against job orders, read blueprints or instructions, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse.

Qualifications

• Clear oral and written communication; legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and blueprints.
• Basic math and measurement skills, including fractions and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory, pull orders, and load/unload materials.
• Receive and return items into stock locations.
• Verify heat numbers and material specifications against job orders.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, side loaders and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
