Qualifications

• BS or AS in Chemistry is required.
• 1-2 years in the TIC sector is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, SOPs, and testing specifications.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
• Ability to remain calm when faced with deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze metal samples using OES, Leco C/S/N/O/H, and ICP.
• Conduct technical cleanliness testing, density and coating weight testing.
• Maintain related test equipment and machinery.
• Summarize test results using basic mathematical calculations and data reductions.
• Testing is conducted on alloys including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium and copper.
