Didion Orf Recycling is expanding and is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative/Buyer in Training. This role involves hands-on training, where you will learn to assess and manage scrap metal inventory while providing excellent customer service. Candidates should have a high school diploma, sales experience is preferred, and a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment. Starting pay is $22–25 per hour, plus incentives, along with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prior experience in sales and negotiations is preferred.
• Prior knowledge and/or strong interest in the recycling industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Unload metals and electronics from customer vehicles.
• Assist with purchasing scrap metal from customers.
• Learn to evaluate the quality and value of various metals.
• Help maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service and lead satisfaction initiatives.
• Educate customers on accepted items for recycling.
